On the occasion of Dussehra, Shiv Sena Uddhav Thackeray on Tuesday gave a 35-minutes long speech at Shivaji Park in Dadar. The ‘Dussehra Melava’ is considered an iconic event for Shiv Sena since the party’s inception.

In his speech, Thackeray focused on several issues – from Ram Mandir and alliance with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to ED’s complaint against Sharad Pawar and farmer’s issues among others.

While addressing the gathering at Shivaji Park in Mumbai, Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray reiterated his demand to bring a special law to resolve the ongoing Ram Mandir issue and initiate construction for the same.

Shiv Sena wants the construction of Ram Mandir at the birthplace of Lord Ram in Ayodhya and a special law should be introduced for the same,” said Uddhav Thackeray.

Thackeray further said that the youth should come forward as they are the ones who make history while apologising to all Shiv Sainiks who have not been given tickets.
