Ahead of Vijay Ratnakar Gutte’s upcoming political film – The Accidental Prime Minister's release, Maharashtra Youth Congress on Thursday demanded a special screening of the movie before its official release which is on January 11.

The youth Congress has warned to protest against the release of the movie which portrays Anupam Kher as former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh if their demands were not met. The youth Congress wrote their demands to the makers of the movie.

The trailer was released on December 27 and it became an internet sensation. After it was released, Maharashtra Youth Congress President Satyajeet Tambe-Patil alleged that facts in the movie regarding Dr. Manmohan Singh, Sonia Gandhi, and Congress party have been portrayed incorrectly.

It can be understood from the trailer that the facts regarding former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, Sonia Gandhi, and Congress party have been presented incorrectly in order to destruct the party’s image. Therefore, it is desirable that you organise a special screening for our officer bearers before the move is released,” wrote the Maharashtra Youth Congress President to producers of the movie.
