Feeding people and ensuring that no one sleeps empty stomach was a prime focus for the government. Under the Shiv Bhojan initiatives, nutritious meals were offered at ₹10, but the cost was reduced to ₹5 during the COVID-19 pandemic. Till date, more than 906 Shiv Bhojan centres have been set up and over 2 crore citizens have been fed.

The state was hit by the cyclone this year and farmers had to face heavy losses. But the state stood by them and after visiting the land and thorough consideration, the government decided to offer financial aid to improve farmer's daily life. ₹10,000 crore relief was granted for farmers hit by floods, and ₹19,000 crore worth loan waiver has been offered. Moreover, a new plan - ‘Vikel te Pikel’ initiative - was implemented to ensure farmers grow produce that sells.

The state's tourism developments have been on a rise. Under the leadership of Aaditya Thackeray. The department has launched and development projects to revive tourism in Maharashtra in association with MTDC. Beach shacks, camper vans, fort renovation, beautification, forest reserves, boat park, MTDC resorts etc. have been launched to boost tourism opportunities for enthusiasts and visitors.
