Thirteen people have been detained for an alleged attack on a group of people taking out a vehicle rally on the eve of the idol consecration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya in Mira Bhayandar, adjacent to Mumbai. State Home Minister Devendra Fadnavis said that strict action will be taken against the accused in the case.


What is the matter

On Sunday night at around 10:30 pm, a group of 10 to 12 people in three cars and the same number of motorcycles were taking out a rally from Naya Nagar. During the rally, the group was raising slogans in praise of Lord Ram in view of the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony in Ayodhya on Monday. Some people raised slogans and allegedly burst firecrackers, following which a group of local people came out with sticks and sticks. There was an argument with the people attending his rally and they attacked their vehicles.


At present, a police force has been deployed in the area to deal with any law and order situation. Apart from local police personnel, a contingent of Riot Control Police (RCP) has also been deployed.

What did MLA Pratap Sarnaik say

Shiv Sena Shinde faction MLA Pratap Sarnaik met Mira Bhayandar Police Commissioner in this matter. Pratap Sarnaik said that if the police do not arrest all the accused in this case by January 25, then he will call for Mira Bhayandar Bandh on January 25.
