Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) Raj Thackeray on Sunday launched a website - www.mnsrojgar.com - with an aim to provide employment to youth in the state during the time of coronavirus crisis.

Due to the lockdown in view of the coronavirus outbreak, many have lost their jobs and the Raj Thackeray-led MNS has taken an initiative to provide an opportunity to those who have gone unemployed during this time.

The website launched by MNS will help the youth in Maharashtra find employment opportunities in the skilled and unskilled sectors. Along with the jobs, the MNS intends to provide guidance to youth who want to start their own business and have innovative ideas.

The idea for the platform to provide job opportunities for the youth of Maharashtra was conceptualised with the help of MNS MLA Raju Patil and party’s Kalyan Rural President Manoj Gharat.

The website has space for registration of youth who seek job opportunities in various fields along with those who want to initiate their startups. Former MNS corporator Gharat informed that the website has been created under the guidance and assistance of MNS leader Amit Raj Thackeray.

“MNS decided to create this platform for Marathi youth so that they can get employment opportunities. Since the lockdown has been imposed, many have lost their jobs and businesses as well. This website will not only help the youth get employment but also encourage those who want to open their startup,” Patil said.

The MNS supremo launched the website on the occasion of his birthday. Earlier, Thackeray had penned down a letter addressing his party workers and leaders while announcing that he will not be celebrating his birthday owing to the coronavirus situation in the state.
