Mumbai- The Mumbai Metro Railway Corporation (MRCC) has asked political offices to relocate for the upcoming Metro -3 project. As the Metro 3 is coming up on the Colaba-Bandra-Seepz route, the BJP, Congress and NCP's offices have been asked to vacate their existing premises.
MMRC has sent the final notices to the party offices. Meanwhile, MMRC has asked the party offices to relocate to Ballard Estate and Colaba. But political parties are unhappy with the decision.
“Many people and party workers hail from rural areas. They will find it difficult to locate our new office,” said Sachin Sawant, Congress spokesperson. He added that they are in talks with the Mumbai Metro Railway Corporation (MRCC) to allot alternative locations.
