On the polling day in Maharashtra for the assembly elections on Monday, many voters struggled to find their names in the voting list. While some people found their names missing from the voter list while a few were listed dead.
In Maharashtra, there were several voters who found their names missing from the voter list. Many people complain that they had registered their vote in 2019 Lok Sabha elections but their names were missing from the list for the assembly polls.
A person named Israr Ahmed Khan informed that he had voted in the Lok Sabha polls which held in April-May this year but was unable to find his name in the voter list for the assembly elections in Maharashtra. Another voter Sunil Jadhav also narrated the same story.

Athar Hussain Khan, 51, had a hard time finding his name in the voter list. Khan’s name was shifted to another part of the constituency due to which he had to struggle to find his name in the voter list. However, Khan wasn’t informed about the change.
