Day after Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar slammed his grand-nephew, Maharashtra Civil Supply Minister Chhagan Bhujbal asserted that Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar was not unhappy.

When asked about the NCP chief’s remarks on Parth Pawar’s demand to transfer Sushant Singh Rajput death case to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Bhujbal said that he can’t anything as the party supremo has already spoken about it.

“I don’t need to speak on the issue since he (Sharad Pawar) has commented on it. He said Parth is immature. Now, what else can I say? Naya hai woh (he is new),” Bhujbal, senior NCP leader, said while asserting that all is okay in Pawar family.

He maintained that Ajit Dada is not unhappy and said that the Pawar family is united. “The family is united. We are also part of this family as well. All are together,” Bhujbal said.

After the NCP chief made remarks on Parth’s demand to transfer the SSR death case, Ajit Pawar rushed to meet his uncle, Pawar senior. The Maharastra Deputy CM, however, has chosen to maintain silence before the media.

Earlier, after a brief meeting with Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut at Yashwantrao Chavan Centre, Sharad Pawar had said that the demand made by Parth was “immature”. He also said that the demand made by his grand-nephew was not worth paying attention to.

“Parth has less experience. He is immature. I don’t give any importance to what he has said. I have known the Maharashtra and Mumbai Police for 50 years. I have 100 per cent faith in them,” the NCP chief said.
