While addressing BJP leaders and workers on the 43rd anniversary of Emergency, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, mercilessly, attacked Congress and Gandhi family, saying that Congress never believed in the constitution of this country.

Modi said that those who imprisoned the believers of Indian constitution and destroyed the democratic values are talking about the democratic crisis in the country today.

Talking about the Black Day which is being observed by BJP, the Prime Minister informed that “We are observing this black day not only to criticise but to aware the youth about the atrocities committed on people during the emergency.”

Youth of this country doesn’t know much about emergency because they have not faced it and they will never know how its like to live without freedom,” Modi further added.

Attacking Former PM Indira Gandhi and Congress referring to the divide of Congress Party in 1978, Modi claimed that their (Indira Gandhi) decision to split from the party shows that for them values, culture, and the country didn't matter.

Continuing his attack on Gandhi family, he said that one family devalued the constitution and judiciary system of the country. “The party which was no internal democracy cannot adhere to the ideals of democracy,” asserted PM Modi.

With hard-hitting and bitter attacks on Indira Gandhi and her family, Modi blamed Congress for creating false fear now in the country that Dalits, Muslims are being exploited.
