Chunabhatti - The relatives of Shiv Sena up shakha pramukh Hari Bhimrao Jogdandkar (38) have alleged that Jogdandkar, who suddenly died on Tuesday morning, died of neglect in the medical treatment at the hands of doctors. A large number of Shiv Sena workers had assembled in the hospital premises after getting the news of Jogdandkar’s sudden death. As the situation was getting tense, doctors on duty reportedly advised Jogdandkar’s relatives to accept the body and get a death certificate from a private medical practitioner. Finally, the body of Jogdandkar was taken to Sion Hospital for postmortem to know the exact reason of his death. As per reports, Jogdandkar was taken to nearby Somaiya Hospital after he started complained of stomach pain at 3:30 am on Tuesday. He was suffering from pain but doctors neglected his health. As his condition deteriorated, Jogdandkar was shifted to the ICU but he died soon after. It is to be mentioned here that Jogdandkar had raised several issues regarding this hospital and had argued with the hospital dean. This might have resulted in not providing proper treatment to him, alleged Jogdandkar’s relative Nandu Prabhu Shinde. If anything wrong is found in the postmortem report, police action would be initiated against the doctors, he said.
