Mumbai -Today is the grand day for the city, the day will go in history books. PM Narendra Modi will be conducting the bhoomipujan of Shivaji Memorial.
Later, PM will address a public function at the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) ground in Bandra Kurla Complex, after laying foundation stone (bhoomipujan) for two Metro rail projects, Elevated Rail Corridors Project and Mumbai Trans Harbour Link (MTHL).
Three tier security has been beefed up to keep a watch on the activities. 10,000 Mumbai cops will be present to supervise the grand programme. Traffic Police department has deployed 3,000 traffic cops to man the traffic, which may get congested once the convoy travels from Girgaon towards Bandra.
