Ahead of the Maharashtra assembly elections, Shiv Sena has initiated - ‘Jan Ashirwad Yatra’ - a statewide tour which is being led by Yuva Sena chief Aditya Thackeray. Meanwhile, Shiv Sena is also planning to reach out to women voters in the state. 

Shiv Sena will launch ‘Mauli Sanwad’ to cater and discuss the problems faced by women in several parts of Maharashtra. The interactive event will be held at Bhiwandi on August 3 where Aditya Thackeray will discuss the issues faced by women. 

Moreover, Shiv Sena secretary Aadesh Bandekar on August 2 will interact with the tribal women from Vikramgad area in Palghar district.

A Shiv Sena party worker informed that this programme is designed to entice women voter base in Maharashtra, especially in rural areas of the state. The party will advertise the policies adopted for the advancement of women and will take suggestions, the party worker added. 

Shiv Sena is already a connection with the youth under its interactive programme – ‘Aaditya Sanwad’.
