Amid the ongoing protest against the felling of 2,700 trees in Aarey, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Monday said that the government is paying attention to the complaints made by several people regarding the decision to cut trees in Aarey.

...however, the real intention of some ‘people’ who are opposing and protesting the decision should also be questioned. Of the 13,000 complaints received regarding Aarey issue, 10,000 complaints came from just one IP address,” Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said while addressing a press conference.

When asked about the seat distribution between Shiv Sena and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), CM Fadnavis refrained from answering and said, “the journalists are more concerned about Shiv Sena and BJP alliance than me. The announcement regarding seat-sharing will be made soon.”
