CST - Disappearance of JNU student Najeeb Ahmed has taken a new turn. Najeeb Ahmed is a first-year M.sc Biotechnology student, who went missing from the campus since 15 October 2016. In regard to this Student of Islamic Organisation held a press conference in Marathi Patrakar Sangh. SIO raised the question, Where is Najeeb? #JusticeforNajeeb #Mumbailivesmatter. As per SIO, members of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad JNU attacked Najeeb and from that day onwards he is missing.
The press conference was organised on 6 February 2017 scheduled at 2 pm - 3 pm. The organisation has taken the matter in their hands, and are asking for #2.5MillionsignaturetoNCM, informed Salman Ahmed, President SIO.
This initiative is scheduled from 1 February - 15 February across the state. On 22 February a meeting will be held with Najeeb's family in Delhi. They will carry out a rally outside Human Rights Association's centre in Delhi in support of Najeeb.
