In the ongoing controversy over the caste certificate of Mumbra AIMIM corporator Sahar Sheikh, her father Yunus Sheikh has strongly denied all allegations of irregularities.
Responding to the complaint and inquiry report that has recommended action against him, Yunus Sheikh said that all documents submitted for the caste certificate were genuine and issued through proper legal procedures.
He alleged that the case is politically motivated and being used to target the family after the elections. He maintained that there was no wrongdoing in obtaining or using the certificate and expressed confidence that the truth would come out during the official review.
The matter is currently under administrative scrutiny following a complaint filed by a defeated civic election candidate, which has led to a recommendation for further legal action.
