Amid the looming political crisis in the state, late, Thursday, June 22, night, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray along with his family left the official residence of the CM "Varsha". 

Thackeray is headed back to his private residence, "Matoshree" located in Bandra. Videos are going viral on social media showing bags being taken out of the Varsha.

Later, Aaditya Thackeray with his mother Rashmi Thackeray and brother Tejas Thackeray followed his father Uddhav Thackeray as he leaves from his official residence in the city.

While the family was leaving the official residence, party workers reportedly chanted, "Uddhav tum aage badho, hum tumhare saath hain".

During their journey from Malabar Hill to Bandra, Uddhav Thackeray got out of his convoy at Worli and greeted the large crowd gathered in the area. He did the same at the end of the Bandra Worli Sea Link as well. 

Earlier in the evening, Thackeray in his address to the public declared that if his party workers do not want him to be the CM of the state they should come and tell him that. If they do so he will tender his resignation. Further, he added that if Shiv Sainiks told him he is not capable, he is also willing to step down as the president of the party.

Rebel leader, Eknath Shinde who driven the political crisis in the state had voiced that it is important for the Shiv Sena to leave the MVA coalition for the betterment of the state.
