The voting day for the Lok Sabha elections in six constituencies of Mumbai is approaching and the district administration is working vigorously to ensure that citizens come in large numbers. For the convenience of citizens, voting slips are being distributed through polling station level officers (BLOs) and government employees.
At the same time, the Election Commission of India (ECI) has provided online facility to the voters to check their name in the voter list. As expected, most registered voters must have received their Voter Information Slip (VIS).
In case, you haven’t received your VIS till now, you’ll receive it closer to the voting date or you can download it right away using the EIC’s official mobile app as well as EIC’s official website, https://electoralsearch.eci. You can also use Voter Helpline App and https://voters.eci.gov.in/ to get information about their polling number, polling station. Through this, you can download the voter slip, take a print out of it.
Along with this voter card, one of the identity cards approved by the Election Commission of India will also be valid for voting.
