Transparency becoming noose around BJP’s throat

Mumbai - The BJP, which has been raking the issue of transparency, has received a major setback as a photograph of Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari with a toll post contractor has gone viral on social media. Nitin Deshmukh, an NCP activist, exposed the claims of BJP about transparency. He clicked a photograph of Gadkari sitting in a car with MEP Infra Development Company’s managing director Jayant Mhaiskar. It is to be mentioned here that Mhaiskar’s company collects toll at most of the big toll posts across Maharashtra. Gadkari’s photos with Mhaiskar have gone viral on social media which has prompted the Shiv Sena to target its rival in the BMC on the issue of transparency.  In this regard, Shiv Sena MLC Anil Parab has asked the BJP to look at its own transparency before speaking on this issue anymore and has appealed to the prime minister to pay attention to this issue. Meanwhile, BJP spokesperson Madhav Bhandari did not respond to the query in this regard stating that he did not see the said photograph.
