Unmesh Joshi, son of former Maharashtra Chief Minister Manohar Joshi, on Monday, appeared before Enforcement Directorate (ED) after the central investigative agency issued summons in connection with a money laundering case.

The ED is probing the alleged irregularities in loan and equity investment made by Infrastructure Leasing & Financial Services (IL&FS) for Kohinoor CTNL – a company founded by Unmesh Joshi.

Earlier in the day, outside ED office in Mumbai, Joshi informed reporters that he received a notice on Friday night and has come to meet ED officers today. This probe must be about Kohinoor building case, said Joshi while stating that the investigating agency did not send him any questionnaire but he will fully cooperate.
