If you are looking for something exciting this monsoon, look out for the 28th edition of ‘Gulf Monsoon Scooter Rally’ which will take place in Navi Mumbai on July 2.
25 people have registered for this rally so far. Among these 25 participants, former champions include Syed Asif Ali (Bhopal) and runner-up Shamim Khan (Nashik). This event is organised by 'Sportscraft' and sponsored by 'Gulf Oil Lubricants India Ltd'.
All Indian made scooters- two stroke, four stroke and gearless are allowed. The different classes for the competition are - above 80cc up to 110cc - two stroke, above 110 cc up to 160cc - two stroke. In four stroke there are two groups up to 130 cc and second from above 130 ccs up to 160 cc.
The total prize money for the rally is INR 1.40 lakh, with the prize for the overall winner being INR 22,500.
Entries for the event will be accepted until June 22 till 5 PM while the acceptance of late entries closes on June 27 at 1 PM. The organisers will accept around 50 participants.
