It is said that the only thing that unites the people in India is cricket. But does it mean that other sports are not as important and worth it? As a matter of fact, the ones responsible for not posing other sports in India as popular are those who are actually entrusted with the job of organising them and motivating people.  And this was very evident at the Sai Sports Complex situated in Kandiwali on 20 April. Apparently, a Judo competition was organised in the Sai Sports Complex of Kandivali. In this competition, kids from Navi Mumbai, Thane and other branches Central School in Mumbai had participated in the game.

The state was such that the kids were asked to reach the venue before 9:00 a.m. in the morning and a majority of kids had already reached the complex by 8:30. However, no arrangements were made so as to facilitate the smooth running of the competition to be held. Although the responsibility for the arrangement of the necessities was entrusted to Sion Koliwada, but their sports teacher Mr Pathak himself reached at 11:30 a.m.

Moreover, there was no arrangement for any kind of refreshment for the participants and the kids had to do all the work related to the arrangement of the competition.

The noteworthy thing here is that participants at the regional level come here to practice and play in competitions but the point is what would be the case if their basic needs on the ground are not attended to properly.
