Mumbai- The Al Barkat school, Kurla took the advantage on Day 2 of the finals of the ongoing Giles Shield cricket tournament.
They got the IES VN Sule team all out on just 87 in the first innings. In response, Al Barkat went on to make 276, getting an all important lead of 189 runs.
Although Atharva Bhosale took 7/96, IES could not stop the rampaging AL Barkat batsmen. IES VN Sule batsmen faltered in the second innings too and at the end of Day 2, they were 32/5. Anas Malik from Al Barkat took 7/31 on Day 1. Will the IES VN Sule school batsmen save the blues for their team remains to be seen?
