Mumbai- It will be an all west coast final at this year's Ranji trophy finals on 10 January as Mumbai defeated Tamil Nadu by 6 wickets on Thursday.
Chasing 256, young Prithiv Shaw recorded his maiden century on debut to drive Mumbai across the chequered flag. Mumbai too had an important lead of 101 runs on Day 3, but Abhinav Mukund and Baba Indrajith not only neutralized this lead but took on Tamil Nadu to 356 thus setting a target of 256 for Mumbai.
Young Prithvi Shaw looked confident right from the first over and forged partnerships with Praful Waghela and Sheyas Iyer to give Mumbai a steady start. Prithvi Shaw was adjudicated the Man of the Match as he scored a match winning 120. Mumbai wrapped up the semi finals in the 63rd over thus getting their ticket to take on Gujarat in the finals.
