Popular Indian actor, Ashiesh Roy, who was seen in several TV shows passed away in Mumbai on Tuesday, November 24, 2020. He was 55 and was unwell for a long time now, battling a kidney ailment. Ashiesh passed away at his residence in Mumbai and the information was shared by CINTAA's Senior Joint Secretary, Amit Behl, who was informed about the demise by Director Arvind Babbal.
Reports shared by the house help stated that Ashiesh had a couple of hiccups early in the morning at around 3:45 AM and collapsed post that. His dialysis treatment was scheduled for November 24, 2020. The help informed the security guard regarding the same and informed that his health was doing well during the day.
Actress Tina Ghai expressed her grief and said that the CINTAA has been informed about the same, as the members are facing difficulties in acquiring the death certificate since he passed away at his residence. The funeral is expected to be held in the evening today and Ashiesh's sister will also be arriving from Kolkata.
Ashiesh was being treated a hospital in Juhu and has shared the information on Facebook mentioning the need for funds as he did not have enough money to support the treatment. Despite his efforts, Ashiesh was not able to get work during the lockdown and lack of money added to his worries and health. He was admitted to the ICU in May 2020 and sought help for further treatment.Earlier this week, Class of 2020 actress Leena Acharya also passed away due to kidney ailments. As per reports, she breathed her last in Delhi.
