With increasing commuters on the Central Railways, the Rajdhani Express is to run daily from January 19 from Mumbai to Delhi.

The Rajdhani Express from CSMT to Delhi on the Central Railway will run daily from January 19. This comes as a great relief for all the passengers travelling from Mumbai to Delhi on the Central Railway.

The Central Railways Rajdhani Express, which was shut down due to the outbreak of the coronavirus had resumed operations on December 30, 2020. In view of the pandemic, till now the Rajdhani Express is running four days a week. However, considering the response of the passengers to the Rajdhani Express during this period and the demand of passengers, Central Railways has decided to release the Rajdhani Express daily.

Accordingly, it will be released daily from January 19. Moreover, it has informed that the Rajdhani Express will leave CSMT railway station every day at 4 pm.

Train No. 01221

Departs CSMT every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday at 4.10 pm. This express reaches Nashik Road at 6.45 pm and reaches Delhi at 9.55 am the next day.

Train No. 01222

Departs from Delhi every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday at 4.55 pm. This train reaches CSMT at 11.50 am the next day.

Moreover, the commuters have been advised to adhere to all norms, SOPs related to COVID-19 during the boarding, travel and at the destination.
