Central Railways and regularity are two words that are often used in a sentence as a sign of contradiction since the rail line has a preceding reputation about trains never running on time. While earlier the trains would run late only during noon, now the trains are witnessing a time delay during peak hours as well.

Accordingly, a group of passengers from Titwala station have written to the concerned rail authorities and have provided them with a 10-day ultimatum to make the trains regular. Further, the passengers have indicated that if the issue is not resolved, they will protest and stage a 'Rail Roko Andolan'.

Titwala resident Shekhar Kapure had filed the complaint with Central Railway officials and had stated that every day, the trains on the central line are late for vivid reasons. He added that due to that, he and his fellow passengers reach office late. Therefore, they wrote a letter to the Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) and talked about the issue of the irregularity of trains.

Meanwhile, it remains to be seen whether the rail service on the central line finds its regularity back or will it continue to hassle the passengers with its irregular run.
