Mumbai - Great news for Mumbai tourism as the new ropeway will start soon between Navi Mumbai - Ghatkopar & Borivali - Thane. No traffic congestion, no honking, no waiting for buses, no queue for rickshaws, just go skyway. MMRDA on Friday took the decision and gave the proposal a thumbs-up to end all the worries of the commuters. However, for the last two years, MMRDA was brainstorming about the project.
Route - Sanjay Gandhi National Park, Borivali - Ghodbunder Road, Thane
Distance - 11km Expected Cost - Rs 12,000 - 15,000 Crore
Route - Vashi, Navi Mumbai - Ghatkopar Bus Depot
Distance - 8 km Expected Cost - Rs 800 - 900 Crore
