Veteran Bollywood actor Nana Patekar was recently accused of sexual harassment by actress Tanushree Dutta, his co-star of 2008 film "Horn Ok Pleassss".
Her allegations go back a decade and the actress’ voice was supported by many, on Social Media.

However, some strong followers of Nana Patekar have been supporting him. Some of them here belong are from unexpected quarters: farm widows of Maharashtra. Members of this association protested by staging a demonstration and burning photos of Tanushree at Pandharkavada village asking to be the issue to an end.

The women also used slogans to support Nana and said that the actress is trying to defame him for no reason. For these women, the actor is a father-figure and has been helping them after their husbands committed suicides.

Nana who was supposed to hold a press conference with regards to the same, but the same was cancelled late on Sunday, with a message that read, "Just wanted to inform that there's no press conference tomorrow... Will let you know about the further proceedings soon."
