There is no dream sequence between Rani Padmavati and Alauddin Khilji: Sanjay Leela Bhansali

During the shoot of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming movie Padmavati many political groups had asked to put a ban on the film as it was rumoured that a dream sequence has been shot between Deepika Padukone (Rani Padmavati) and Ranveer Singh (Alauddin Khilji). The filmmaker has now posted a video which clear the rumours about the romantic sequence, he said “I have made this film with great pride and respect; it upholds the honour of Rajputs and does not depict anything that may hurt anyone’s sentiments. There is no dream sequence between the characters essayed by Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh”.

Padmavati is all set to hit the screens on December 1, but a sword is hanging over its release. The film has been facing political conflict from the Shri Rajput Sabha, the supreme body of the Rajputs who has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi demanding a complete ban on the release of the film Padmavati.Also, National President, Karni Sena Mahipal Singh Makrana said that the film would never be allowed to be released in Rajasthan. As per the reports, the members of the Rajput Karni Sena are visiting cinema halls and asking cinema hall owners not to screen the film otherwise they would have to pay for it.
