Superstition and faith being the two aspects of the same coin that have their own sets of disadvantages. So if one has true faith in something, it lends you with that positive energy and the motivation you need to keep going in life. On the other hand, too much of faith can get transformed into superstition that more often than not wreaks nothing but disaster. And this is exactly what happened in the Byculla Zoo. Turns out, just so people can a stroke of good luck, they try to strike the poor python enclosed in its cage there.
The people, in spite of being warned by the security officers there, do not seem to pay any heed to their warnings due to which the python ends up suffering. Hence, taking the situation into consideration, the Palnt and Animal Welfare Secretary Sunish Kunju says he will now take measures to increase the security of that python.
