What's the story?

Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar will now be seen as a comic book hero in a 25-page comic section which will be published by Hatchett India

Sachin’s autobiography ‘Playing It My Way’ will be made into a comic book for children.

What will the comic include?

The comic hero section will have 25 pages mentioning some of the most memorable stages of the 'Master Blaster's' life, including his historic innings in Sharjah against Australia, which is fondly remembered in Indian cricket circles as ‘desert storm’.

As reported in TOI, the book will also have the famous tale of his childhood, which tells about why Tendulkar’s coach Ramakant Achrekar would place a one rupee coin on the stumps — for bowlers to claim if they rattled Tendulkar’s stumps — and make him bat for hours.
