In a sad incident, a 12-year-old girl died when a lift of her building hit her head on Saturday. Kunut Arif Zaveri is the name of the deceased girl.
According to police information, Kunut, a resident of Ashiyana building in Behrampada in Bandra, was going downstairs to play along with her cousin. The girls pushed the button of building’s lift. Kunut peeped from the broken glass of lift compartment to see whether the lift is coming down or not. Unfortunately, the lift was coming down and it hit Kunut in which she sustained criticial head injuries. Kunut was immediately rushed to Bhabha Hospital but in vain.
Nirmal nagar police are investigating further into this case.
