Children were sent to Kokan Hospital where doctors said that after some treatment, they would be discharged soon

22 students suffered from food poisoning at Jogeshwari’s Bal Vikas school

22 students of civic-run Bal Vikas School suffered food poisoning after consuming a mid-day meal on Wednesday. Immediately, the children were moved to Jogeshwari’s Kokan Hospital. The children are now stable and will be discharged in the evening, according to the doctors.

Every afternoon, mid-day meal is given to students and the same was done on Wednesday. After consuming it, few students starting puking and suffered from Diarrhoea.

The Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) team have taken samples of the food that was served for a lab test.”

I received a phone call from the school saying that my son was not feeling well. When we reached the school, we were shown that everything is normal through video calling. We forcefully entered the hospital. Doctors will inform us about his health by evening.”
