ALTBalaji's latest romance drama, 'Broken But Beautiful 3' has been in the news for a while now. Broken But Beautiful seasons 1 and 2 created a special place for itself in the hearts of the viewers. The show has been praised by fans and critics alike for its touching love story, unconventional story-telling, soulful songs, and brilliant performances. Both Vikrant Messy and Harleen Sethi had managed to woo the audience and the song were like the icing on the song.

It was promised that in the season 3 of Broken But Beautiful will be a brand new story. And true to the word, it is the love story of Agastya & Rumi. Agastya, an aspiring director, falls in love with Rumi Desai, his muse. The trailer promised another relatable journey of love, longing, and heartbreak.

TV hearthrob Sidharth Shukla has made his digital debut and sharing screen space with him is debutant Sonia Rathee. The show starts with these two broken souls colliding. Sidharth who is playing the role of Agastya is trying to become a director. He is also brash, straightforward, alcoholic. Rumi played by Sonia and she is a rich, spoilt, insecure girl who has been obssessed about her a boy since her childhood.

If you are looking for a raw, emotional love story that one witnessed in the first two seasons, then Broken but beautiful 3 is not for you. However it stil is a love story with its share of flaws.

The pace of the show is one of the strong points. Most Indian shows are streched and take foverever to get to the point. This is something that one does not see in Broken but Beautiful 3. Sidharth too has done a fab job of bringing his character to life. There are parts where one can feel his brashness but there is nothing that makes him relatable and hence one never gets to connect to him.

Same is the case with Rumi. Her ascent seems unbearable at time. What works is the chemistry that both of these characters have. The lifeline of this show is the soulful music and soothing compositions. It is another thing that was the highlight of the first two season and we get to hear the same familiar melodious tracks even in this season too. We also get to see a special appearance of Veer and Samira too, the main characters of the first two seasons and that definately puts a smile on the face.

Produced by Sarita A Tanwar and Niraj Kothari, and directed by Priyanka Ghose, the upcoming web series Broken But Beautiful 3 has the right ingrediatns in place and the chemistry between the two make it a good watch.
