Borivali- 'ACP Pradumna dead' - a rumour that had its basis in a photograph from the TV serial CID, had spiralled out of control in the last few days on social media. Some went so far as to say that it was actor Shivaji Satam who had in fact succumbed to a heart attack. The accompanying picture of a Satam covered with a hospital sheet (taken from the serial) added to the confusion.
Finally, Shivaji Satam himself decided to clear the air and deny the rumours. He told Mumbai Live that we was indeed alive and well and assured fans of C.I.D that the show was not winding up anytime soon. Satam, who has been associated with CID since its inception nearly two decades ago, was in Borivali at the Prabodhankar Thackeray auditorium for a stage performance.
