The government-run Cama and Albless Hospital might become the first public hospital in Mumbai to start an outpatient department (OPD) on ayurvedic medicine. 

A proposal has been submitted to the public health department by medical superintendent of the hospital, Dr Tushar Tatyaba Palve to start an OPD on ayurvedic medicine. He said they are waiting for the confirmation letter from the department and once they receive it, they will start the OPD from Monday. Further details will be shared after getting the approval letter, he added.

Lately, an IVF centre in a 2000 sqft area has been approved from the collector's office by the hospital for only women and children. the medical superintendent said Cama and Albless hospital will be the first public hospital in the state that will start an IVF clinic. the facility might start within a few months, he added.
