After an opening day debacle against Puneri Paltan, U Mumba came back strong to edge Haryana Steelers with a score line of 29-28 on Sunday.

Kashiling Adake and Anup Kumar stepped up when U Mumba needed it the most. Wazir Singh and Vikash Khandola gave the Steelers a lead at half time when the score board displayed 15-11.
The second half opened with the Steelers leading 19-12 but Kashiling Adake spun the match with a super raid in U Mumba’s favour. An all out was then inflicted and U Mumba made a strong comeback and Anup Kumar played it smart in the dying seconds to let the clock rundown.
In other results, Benguluru Bulls beat Telugu Titans 31-21.
