On this occasion, Uddhav Thackeray was accompanied by Maharashtra Minister Aditya Thackeray, his wife Rashmi Thackeray and Shiv Sena MLA Sada Sarvankar.

Uddhav Thackeray said that he got to learn a lot from Balmohan School. He said that "Balmohan School is not just a four-wall for me but it is a ritual, Balmohan has an important contribution in whatever I am today, today's generation is sensible, they know which path they should go. Hai, Balmohan and JJ School of Art have given me a lot "

Ajit Bhure, a batchmate of the Maharashtra CM, interacted with Uddhav Thackeray and senior NCP leader Jayant Patil during the programme.

"Balmohan school is not just a four-wall (structure) for me but it is a culture. This school has an important contribution to whatever I am today. Today's generation is sensible and they know which path they should take," CM Uddhav Thackeray said while speaking at the event.

Recalling the old memories, Maharashtra Water Resource Minister Jayant Patil said that he used to play cricket during the recess.

"Whenever we used to get a break from school, during recess, we went to Shivaji Park to play cricket. It is because of the culture of this school that we are at this place today. I also participated in 'Dahihandi' during school days," Patil remembered.

Jayant Patil, who is a minister in Shiv Sena-led Maharashtra Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government, praised CM Uddhav Thackeray saying that a student of Balmohan Vidyamandir school never commits any wrongdoing.
