Chembur- Ward 154 is said to be a crucial ward from BMC election point of view, so political parties have fielded their experienced candidates.
BJP has given the ticket to the present corporator Mahadev Shivgan from ward 154. Sena has fielded Shekhar Chavan who is Shiv Sena shakha pramukh in this ward. Congress has given a ticket to former Corporator Kisan Mestry’s son Abhijeet Mestry. Vijay Bhosale from Nationalist Congress Party and Mauli Thorve are contesting for the forthcoming BMC election.
All the contestants fielded for the upcoming BMC election are experienced so it will be interesting to see on the day of result on 23 February, who wins the seat.
