Bihar Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) spokesperson Nikhil Anand has come down heavily on Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray over the Sushant Singh Rajput death case. He accused Thackeray of failing as the Chief Minister and said that he should take training from Devendra Fadnavis to be successful.

Reacting to the demolition of Kangana Ranaut’s office by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), Anand further attacked Thackeray’s party saying that Shiv Sena should change its name ‘Babur Sena’.

The spat between Bollywood Actress Kangana Ranaut and Shiv Sena-led Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government in Maharashtra has intensified. The BJP has provided full support to the actress, and the Union Home Ministry has given her ‘Y-plus’ security.

“The people of Maharashtra didn’t know that Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray will turn out to be such a low-level politician. The BMC and Mumbai Police are taking biased action against the female artist on the instructions of Uddhav Thackeray. Even Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh and Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut are following the same rhetoric,” the BJP leader asserted.

Anand also said that the whole system, including the police administration have been put at stake in order to take political vendetta against Kangana Ranaut.

“Uddhav Thackeray used his family's legacy and ideology to fulfil his ambition to become the Chief Minister of Maharashtra. Instead of getting justice for Sushant Singh Rajput, he continued to oppose the CBI probe,” he claimed.

Furthermore, Anand said that Shiv Sena has compromised its ideology and has insulted the soul of late Balasaheb Thackeray. Uddhav Thackeray should change the name of his party to Babursena, he added.

Meanwhile, Raut has refuted the allegation of Shiv Sena being associated with the demolition action. He said that the decision to demolish Kangana’s office in Pali Hill was taken by the BMC.
