BJP MLA Mangal Prabhat Lodha on Saturday demanded that the Jinnah House situated at Malabar Hill should be demolished and be given to the state government for the state's cultural center.
In a press conference, Mangal Prabhat Lodha told reporters that Mohammed Ali Jinnah was not a patriot, and because of him the country split.
Lodha demanded to take Jinnah House under the new enemy property act approved by the
Jinnah House was built by Mohammad Ali Jinnah in 1936 with a cost of Rs 2.5 lakhs.
From time to time, Pakistan was demanding that the Jinnah House should be handed over to Pakistan so that the high commission of Pakistan could be started.
Dina Wadia, the daughter of Muhammad Jinnah, chose to stay in India. Dina Wadia had fought a court battle for Jinnah House.
