Mumbai – The results of the BMC elections were declared on Thursday. But there was a seat that attracted the attention of one and all. The result got stuck till 13th round of counting of votes finally ending into two candidates getting the same number of votes.
The tie between the BJP and the Shiv Sena candidates - Atul Shah and Surendra Bagalkar – finally ended with the lottery drawn by a girl. The chit drawn by the girl was in favour of Shah and as soon as it was declared, the BJP workers started celebrating the win.
Till breathtaking race favoured the BJP as the lucky chit added one more seat in the kitty of party taking it to the number of 82.
