After Shiv Sena, Congress leader Vijay Wadettiwar and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Jayant Patil on Thursday made sensational allegations against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Wadettiwar informed that BJP is trying to sabotage the Congress and NCP MLAs to form their government in Maharashtra. The senior opposition leaders claimed that the BJP is trying to contact their legislators over phone.

The Congress-NCP further stated that it has been 13 days since the assembly election results were declared in Maharashtra and the BJP and Shiv Sena alliance have failed to form the government despite getting a majority.

The current term for Devendra Fadnavis government ends on November 9. The last day for government formation is nearing but Shiv Sena and BJP have failed to reach any consensus. This means that the deadlock over government formation in Maharashtra still remains.

The senior leaders from the opposition alliance alleged that if any arty doesn’t stake claim to form the government, the Governor can impose President’s rule in Maharashtra which will further fuel the political turmoil.

...after Shiv Sena refused to comply, BJP is now trying to manipulate the MLAs from our party,” the opposition alleged.

Wadettiwar informed that BJP tried to contact their MLAs which means that they can lure or even threaten the legislators. Shiv Sena, which has been with the BJP for 25 years, has also expressed their apprehension regarding the same.
