Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, on Sunday, October 25, 2020, addressed the state during the Dussehra rally and responded to every issue posed by the opposition. In his speech, the CM spoke on topics like Hindutva, coronavirus, vaccine, BJP, PM Narendra Modi and several others.

He challenged his opposition and said that if they have the courage, they should try and bring down his government. Sharing his thought with the strength he said,  "Ever since I became the chief minister, people, from day one, have been saying that this three-wheeled government will not last long and that the state government will fall. I challenge and say that if you have the courage, do it."

Adding more while addressing the people, he also spoke about Hindutva and said that several members from the opposition have been asking the MVA about the reasons behind not opening the temples in the state. There are claims being made that the CM's Hindutva is different from that of his father's, i.e. Balasaheb Thackeray. Mocking their claims, he said, 'Your idea of Hindutva is to ring bells and pots. Sadly, ours is not like that. '

CM further targeted BJP's statement in which he said that the coronavirus vaccine should be given to Bihar only during the Bihar elections. Addressing this issue, Thackeray said, "You are talking about giving free vaccines in Bihar. Is the rest of the country Pakistan or Bangladesh? Those who are talking like this should be ashamed. You are the centre."

Unlike every year, the Dussehra rally this year was not held at Shivaji Maidan, and the venue was changed due to the coronavirus outbreak. A limited number of people were present at the rally. CM, while addressing the state, asked the people to celebrate the festival in a simple manner by following rules of social distancing and others.
