Ahead of Congress President Rahul Gandhi’s address to the booth-level party workers at Goregaon, Mumbai Congress President Sanjay Nirupam on Tuesday said that Congress will fight until BJP is thrown out from power. 


Congress party stands for the exploited and works towards empowering the poor but BJP lies and we should remove them from the face of Indian politics. We are struggling on every issue which affects the common man. Four years of Modi government has given us only pain,” Nirupam while addressing the party karyekartas.

Slamming BJP for fooling people, Nirupam said that they have released a booklet highlighting the failure of Modi government in four years. He further added that all the statistics of the scams and corruption is extracted from the government data.

Taking a dig at Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, the Mumbai Congress president informed that the book also focuses on the tea and rat scam of the Maharashtra government. Accusing BJP and Shiv Sena for being unaccountable to the people, Nirupam asserted that both parties blame each other and do not consider the needs of people. 

Referring to the water logging in Mumbai recently, he said, “Those who are in authority are shameless. Every worker is suffering under the Shiv Sena-BJP rule.” Furthermore, Nirupam blamed Shiv Sena and BJP for dividing people on the basis of religion and community and said that this should be put to an end by putting Congress to power.

Ashok Chavan slams BJP and praises Rahul Gandhi

Maharashtra Congress President, Ashok Chavan, during his address, said that “Party workers are gathered here and they want to see Rahul Gandhi as the Prime Minister of India.” 

Taking a dig at CM Fadnavis, Chavan said that all the infrastructural development including Monorail and Metro is our work for the people but CM Fadnavis takes credit for the same. Speaking about the unemployment issue, the state party president asserted that unemployment among the youth is the biggest question under four years of BJP rule, the youth remains unemployed.

Party workers should work together and our dream of BJP-mukt Bharat will be fulfilled,” he assured.


BJP wants Sangh in Government Machinery

Commenting on Modi government’s move to recruit people for administrative services without taking the UPSC examination, Former Congress MP Eknath Gaikwad targeted the ruling government saying that it is a conspiracy to get the Sangh inside. 

Gaikwad further added that a country which belongs to Mahatma Gandhi, B.R. Ambedkar, Nehru, and Vallabhbhai Patel - is being disrupted by caste-based politics and the BJP is responsible for the same.
