Energy Minister Nitin Raut on Friday, January 29, directed to solve the problems of power workers sympathetically and solve them immediately. Nitin Raut handed over the management of the three power companies.

A meeting was held to resolve the pending questions of the staff along with the representatives of Intac organization, a power company in Fort, Mumbai in Raut's presence.

Retirement schemes for voluntary retirement of physically disabled persons due to illness or accident, service of salaried employees, withdrawal of false charges against employees on duty for recovery of electricity bill, deputation of engineering degree and diploma technical staff to junior and assistant engineers, retirement scheme were discussed in the meeting headed by Dr. Nitin Raut. The minister directed the management to take a decision after examining the questions raised by power companies workers.

He will hold a meeting with the Home Minister as well as senior officials of the law and justice department to discuss the punishment meted out to the offenders against the employees of the power companies or MSEDCL under local pressure, said Raut. He also said that he was positive about the demand for relaxation of 15-year condition for deputation to senior posts by holding high qualifications.
