The opposition parties have criticised Shiv Sena Chief Uddhav Thackeray for his visit to Ayodhya ahead of the upcoming polls next year. Even Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) took a dig at Thackeray on Saturday by putting up a poster near Shiv Sena Bhavan. The police later removed the poster.

Earlier, Shiv Sena had opposed the ruling government on multiple issues pertaining to the people including farmer issues and their sufferings, inflation, etc.

While Shiv Sena attacks the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Maharashtra despite being in an alliance, Sena has mentioned several times that they don’t care about being in power and they always carry their resignation in their pocket.

Taking a dig at Shiv Sena on the same, with MNS’ poster headlined, “Ayodhya-la Nighale Joshat, Rajiname Matra Khishat” criticised Thackeray and his party saying that they visited Ayodhya with enthusiasm along with their resignation letters in their pocket.

Thackeray left for Ayodhya on a two-days-visit along with his family to campaign for Ram Mandir. MNS spokesperson Sandeep Deshpande said that Shiv Sena is criticising its own ally over Ram Mandir issue but why are they still in the alliance if BJP has failed to fulfil their promise of building Ram Mandir?
