The 69th Filmfare ceremony, considered the most prestigious in Bollywood, was organised in Gujarat this year. Since the Filmfare event held in Mumbai every year has been held in Gujarat, there has been an uproar among the opponents for the past few days. In this regard, NCP MLAs Jayant Patil and Jitendra Awad had shared X posts earlier. Now Rohit Pawar has targeted the government by sharing an X post.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had come to Mumbai a few days ago to promote industrial investment in Uttar Pradesh. On this occasion, he discussed with eminent industrialists and industrial groups. Apart from this, Yogi Adityanath also discussed with senior producers, directors and artists of Bollywood as Chitranagari (Film City) is being built in Uttar Pradesh soon. Against this backdrop, NCP MLA Rohit Pawar has criticised the government by sharing an X post.

“After the Mumbai industry, IFSC centre, diamond trade, now the anti-Maharashtra forces are eyeing the film industry in Mumbai. First the filmfare award function went to Gujarat to reduce the importance of the film city built by the contribution of the producer of film industry Dadasaheb Phalke, now there are steps to build a film city in Uttar Pradesh. Such criticism has been made by Rohit Pawar.

"While this is the case, our Golmaal government is only taking the role of a bystander without any opposition to retain the seat, but no matter how much power someone exerts and no matter how much help is given to these external forces by our own traitors, this glory of Mumbai cannot be taken away from anyone. Finally what happened with IFSC Centre, Diamond Bourse will happen because Mumbai is Mumbai… the life of Maharashtra!” Rohit Pawar has also said this.

Meanwhile, this year's 69th Hyundai Filmfare event was held at Gandhinagar Gift City, Gujarat on January 27 and 28. Every year this ceremony is organised in Mumbai itself. Filmfare was organised in Guwahati only in 2020. The opposition has targeted the government as the Filmfare awards ceremony has also been shifted to Gujarat while major projects have already moved from Maharashtra.
