Former CM of Maharashtra and BJP leader, Devendra Fadnavis, on Monday, January 25, 2021, slammed the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government once again and said that the government in the state is corrupted and has postponed several schemes over the last year.

The statement was made at a protest organised by the BJP in Bhandara district demanding immediate action against the culprits involved the death of 10 innocent children. The fire broke out recently at the district hospital. Fadnavis, on the occasion, addressed the people at the protest, and present with him were former Minister Chandrasekhar Bavankule, Dr Parineet Phuke and other leaders.

Speaking at the same, Fadnavis said that even after the death of 10 innocent children, the negativity of the state government has not reduced. Various issues related to milk supply, paddy growers and farmers are still pending, which the state government has consistently ignored. The demands of the government to pay the dues of farmers for a year and a half has not been addressed. Similar concerns have bee raised whereby corruption in paddy procurement has to stop, and the government should focus issues like providing welfare benefits to the workers, reducing electricity bills during COVID-19 period, providing proper assistance to flood victims, farmers, etc.

Adding more he stated that the price of milk was subsidized during the BJP government's rule, however, it isn't the case today.

The waiver of electricity bill was announced by the government ministers. but no action has been taken. Moreover, the government today does not have INR 1,200 crore to give to the poor, but INR 5,000 crore has been given to Mumbai builders. So far, the government gave a total of INR 11 crore to farmers in 6 districts of East Vidarbha. Today, many farmers have spoken about being harassed, but they are not getting any help from the government.
