After Rahul Gandhi, Aaditya Thackeray has now raised the issue of vote manipulation, claiming irregularities involving 19,333 voters in Worli. He also accused the Election Commission of working in favor of the BJP.
Speaking at the Thackeray Sena’s “Nirdhar Melava” (Resolve Rally), Aaditya Thackeray detailed the alleged discrepancies in the voter list, presenting point-by-point examples.
Aaditya said, “We always tell everyone that the voter lists must be thoroughly checked. Let me give the example of Worli, if you don’t detect vote theft or errors, a bogus government will take over. It’s up to you whether you want to catch the vote fraud or not. In Worli, there were 2,52,970 votes during the Lok Sabha election, which increased to 2,63,352 in the Assembly election, a natural rise, perhaps.
However, there has been an increase of 16,043 votes, and another 5,661 votes were added. After studying the voter list, we found irregularities in 19,333 voter entries where some photos are unclear or blurred. One example is a man named Narhari Kulkarni, who had died before the Lok Sabha election but was shown to have voted in the Assembly election. After the issue was raised, his name was removed from the list.”
He further said, “It’s your responsibility to verify the voter lists during elections. There will be lists with around 1,200 voters each, and these must be carefully reviewed.
Despite various technologies, we haven’t been able to catch all errors. The Election Commission has software that can detect photo mismatches but that’s only useful if we actually read and examine the lists. When polling agents are seated, they must be able to identify voters from their photos. In some photos, only a nose is visible, how can anyone recognize the voter then?
We have been saying constantly that elections in India haven’t been held in a free and fair way by the Election Commission of India.

🚨 The election commission has allowed mass rigging in elections, by simply not performing its duty to purify the voter lists.

In Worli alone, there could be 22,000 to 23,000 suspicious voter entries, possibly even more, since the review is still ongoing. If there’s no proper photo, how can the voter be verified?” he said.
